We produce books, magazines, commercial products and e-books. To do so, material and energy is required. As one of the largest offset printers in Europe our responsibility is to act sustainably with respect to the environment. These procedures are in accordance with the environment and climate protection strategy of arvato and the Bertelsmann Group.

The activities of the Bertelsmann Group are primarily driven by sustainable development. This includes the responsible use of energy, water, resources and land. Arvato and Bertelsmann both publish sustainability reports to cover important activities worldwide and to make energy consumption and savings transparent.
So what does protecting our environment involve? We have many examples – to name a few…
